The hotel was a perfect way to kick off our honeymoon with a nice location near the river walk, although the view from our room was just an alley. The service was welcoming with a text message upon arrival, including valet parking and happy hour. The dining experience was normal fare, but the hotel facilities were fantastic, making our stay enjoyable.
The hotel had mixed experiences with clean rooms and nice stone counters in a not-what-we-expected setup but marred by a broken bed. The service ranged from overlooking guests to leaving dogs alone causing noise issues. The location, while overlooking the riverwalk, suffered from unkempt surroundings. The dining experience was normal fare with some inconveniences. The facilities have both positive and negative aspects.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, while large, modern, and comfortable, lacked soundproofing on the doors. Unfortunately, upon arrival after an 8-hour drive to San Antonio, we were informed that our room had been changed to one with a view of the street and roof, accompanied by a dirty room and no hot water.
